Yes. We have 2 types of accommodation.

1. Sea facing - Twin sharing

2. Non sea facing - Twin sharing

The cost depends on the type of room you choose. You can also choose a single occupancy at an additional cost of INR 13,000 & INR 15,000

You can join if you don't know to swim. But you cannot join if you are afraid of the water. You might have to take a private surf session at an additional cost if you are afraid and if you need more help.

Our surf retreats are safe for women. Our group activities are curated and vetted by Jinal & Rajeev. We also have a local host who will be co-hosting the surf retreat.

No. This does not include travel to and from Varkala to your respective city. You will have to book that on your own. You can rent motorbikes in Varkala and travel easily.

We are surfing with Kuma SurfsSchool. It is one of the reputed surf school that focuses on safety and learning.

Yes. Breakfast is part of the package. You will have to explore local eateries for other meals. But we do have budget friendly recommendations that you can explore.

Travel to Varkala is not included

Yes — basic swimming ability is required for safety reasons. You don’t need to be a pro swimmer, but you should be comfortable in the ocean. If you don't know swimming, you can speak to us and figure out if we can arrange a non swimmer surf session for you.

We’ll share a detailed packing list once your spot is confirmed — but basics include:

• Swimwear

• Towel

• Sunscreen

• Flip-flops

• Comfortable clothes for the beach

• A plastic bag to carry your wet clothes

• A small bag to carry fresh clothes after surf

• Engery bars/protiens bar also come in handy
  

We’ll also remind you about any essentials closer to the date.

Since spots are limited, all bookings are final and non-refundable. However, you can transfer your spot to a friend if you’re unable to make it — just inform us in advance.

Not at all. If you’re reasonably active, open to learning, and love being in or around water — you’ll fit right in. We’ve had people from 18 to 40+ join us.
