Surf Retreat in Pondicherry πββοΈ | 2-6 September 2026 Weβre heading to the East Coast for a 5-day beginner-friendly surf retreat while staying in the beautiful Aurovillian jungle and surfing with Kallialay Surf School. We have a 50:50 gender ratio. Please note: This is a curated experience for those who appreciate experiences in general. It's not a get drunk in a beach town sort of vibe. We respect the locals and hope to share the surf culture with those who join us. Curated experiences ποΈ Stay in a beautiful Aurovillian forest resort (twin shared cottages). πββοΈ 4 days of surfing lessons with trained instructors. π§ββοΈ 1 Surrise yoga session to reset body and mind. π 1 Durm circle activity to get to know everyone π 1 Horse riding class π₯ 1 Family dinner β food and connection. π₯ 1 Auroville bakery brunch (Depends on our surf timing) Optional add-ons at additional cost - Auroville tour, Auroville Cycle tour, Visit to Matri Mandir, Visit to Swaraa sound museum, Kayak by the mangroves. Beginner friendly
All of our retreats are super beginner-friendly, especially for those who are surfing for the first time. We usually accommodate a few non-swimmer spots too. Our trained and certified instructors will help you catch your waves.
Alcohol & parties
Retreats in itself are intended to slow down, relax and soak in the surf life. It's certainly not "getting drunk in a beach town vibe". We do organise a dinner/BBQ party on the last night of the surf retreat where everyone can get together and share drinks and dinner.
